Hi! I’m your friendly neighborhood home inspector.
Why get a home inspection?
Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make. A thorough home inspection is a visible examination of the performance of a home by a certified professional. Home inspectors are trained to identify problems that may not be visible to the untrained eye. They help identify safety hazards, uncover defects, and help you plan for future maintenance or upgrades.
A home inspection offers peace of mind and valuable information that can help you make an informed decision, avoid costly repairs, and care for your home well. It’s a relatively small investment for a large return in terms of securing your future in the home.
About
As a proud member of the Bellingham community, I am committed to providing my neighbors with personalized, trustworthy service. My inspections are thorough and objective—I don’t cut corners, and I don’t rush. Every inspection comes with a detailed report, complete with photos and clear explanations of any issues I find.
I believe in educating my clients, so you can make informed decisions about your home and learn to ask the right questions. If you do end up purchasing the home, I want the report to function as a kind of user manual for your home. You have one for your car, shouldn’t you have something similar for your house?
Educated at Bellingham Technical College with access to resources and other inspectors with decades of home inspection experience. I also exceed my annual educational requirements and research new trends in home building.

What to Expect
Prior to inspection
You will receive an inspection agreement from me to fill out and send back before the inspection. I will begin by researching the home before the date of the inspection.
The day of the inspection
The inspection will take 3-4 hours. This may vary depending on the size and age of the home. If you are able, I would recommend coming towards the end of the inspection. That way I am able to walk through some of the findings. If you are not able to join, or would like to converse further, we can set up a time to meet afterwards and walk through the pictures I took and talk through the major findings.
After the inspection
Within 24 hours you will receive a written report with pictures from me. Why not sooner? To write the report, I will go through all of the photos from the property (often over 800) and make sure you receive the most in-depth report possible.
